As part of the Sensors & Application Engineering Department, the ideal candidate will be an experienced engineer passionate about complex mixed-signal electronic systems, novel sensing solutions, and their integration at the vehicle level.You will be responsible of:

• Development, integration, and debugging of electronic components at the vehicle level.
• Optimization of existing solutions to enhance performance and/or reduce costs.
• Gathering requirements from other R&D departments and delivering solutions within project constraints related to cost and schedule.
• Supporting hardware and software development and debugging of components featuring complex electronic subsystems.

In order to succeed in this challenging role, you will ideally have achieved excellent academic results with a Master-degree or PhD in Electronic Engineering or equivalent. And you will have gained at least 5 years’ dedicated experience on the design, development and debug of electronic components, not necessarily limited to the automotive industry.Proficiency with test and measurement equipment (e.g., oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, power analyzers) and strong understanding of PCB design, circuit theory, and microelectronics are important to manage the activities and responsabilities of the role.
Familiarity with firmware development, vehicle networking, and related debugging tools is a plus. Knowledge of automotive standards (e.g., ISO 26262, AEC-Q100, EMI/EMC compliance) is an advantage.
Strong technical project management skills, decision making and accountability are essential to manage the activities and work transversally within the organization.In Ferrari you must exhibit the capability to work in a highly-dynamic and fast-changing environment, thinking analytically, including attention to details and critical thinking ability. It is important to be proactive proposing new solutions to optimize all the processes and activities. Fluent English is required for the position and Italian language skills are an advantage.
