Energy and Carbon Manager?

developing decarbonisation projects to make a lasting difference, this role will could be the
perfect fit for you.

The role will focus on

  • Sharing your technical and practical knowledge to reduce energy consumption, carbon
    emissions and increase renewables generation, to improve energy conservation.
  • Developing and delivering complex and high profile carbon reduction projects to support the
    delivery of the Council’s corporate Net Zero targets.
  • Inputting into funding bids, scanning for opportunities that further corporate Net Zero
    objectives.
  • Working collaboratively across the Council, with key stakeholders and partners across
    Oxford City.
  • Using your initiative to find opportunities to reduce energy use and deliver the Council’s
    decarbonisation objectives.
  • Advising, guiding and providing support to senior managers, councillors, and external
    stakeholders to achieve carbon reduction goals.

Location: Hybrid Oxford – Town Hall and work from home
