In order to reinforce our engineering team, we are looking for a mechanical engineer. The incumbent reports to the Engineering Supervisor. The main responsibilities of this position are :

Responsibilities:

• Pumping unit design in line with customer specification and Flowserve standard, based on existing pump or as part of new development, for nuclear and industrial applications.

• Perform design activities; risk analysis, mechanical analysis, design review, drawing check, test validation.

• Work with our Front-end department to support customer offer and propose innovative solutions.

• For a pump product line, be factory support for all department (sales, project, quality, assembly, quality, test, after market) along project life.

• Interact with Engineered Services team, Product & Engineering Specialists, Product Management to support activities and implement new product development.

• Collaborate with our remote team for 2D drawings.

Requirements:

• Engineering degree or equivalent and 4+ years related experience in mechanical design with ideally knowledge of rotating equipment.

• Collaborative interpersonal skills, autonomous, dynamic and thorough.

• Computer Assisted Design knowledge (Solidworks, Autocad).

• Knowledge of FEA software.

• Knowledge of Nuclear codes (RCC-M, ASME) is appreciated.

• Good command of English.
