Our Client based in Shannon, Co. Clare is looking for an experienced Engineering Manager to oversee and lead their operations team. This role will be part of a management team focused on helping the company to continue to scale. The company has a strong focus on lean manufacturing principals as part of their day to day operations.This position offers the scope for career progression and as the company has a strong growth mindset and a focus on promotion from within.Core Responsibilities

• Spearhead day-to-day operations of all of our production floor which includes fabrication.
• Drive process optimization and implement lean manufacturing principles with our CI manager and team.
• Ensure stringent quality control and safety standards adherence.
• Lead and nurture a team of skilled fabricators, engineers, design team and operators.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to meet production goals and deadlines.
• Contribute to strategic planning and business growth initiatives.
• Manage budgets and resource allocation effectively.

Requirements

• 5+ years of managerial experience within fabrication industry.
• Deep understanding of fabrication processes and techniques.
• Experienced assisting in the pricing of jobs/projects and scheduling work in an optimised manner.
• Proven track record of enhancing operational efficiency and productivity.
• Outstanding leadership and communication skills.
• Proficiency in project management and ERP systems.
• Comprehensive knowledge of industry standards and regulations.
