Job Description:A permanent vacancy currently exists within Mid and East Antrim Borough Council for the following posts and applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced candidates:-Environmental Health Officer
37 hours per week
Scale PO1, SCP 29-32, £38,626-£41,511.
Location: The location of this post will be in Larne but requirements of the post may result in the postholder having to work in locations across the Borough.MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB
Undertake the inspections of commercial and domestic premises; investigate complaints and accidents, enforce relevant statutory provisions and provide guidance on statutory requirements.
Provide advice and make recommendations to public, commercial and governmental organisations on a disparate range of environmental health and or wellbeing issues.
Contribute to effective liaison and partnership arrangements related to the functions of the department.
