Job Title Environmental Health & Safety SpecialistJob DescriptionEnvironmental Health & Safety Specialist – Plymouth, MN:Drive the implementation and continuous improvement of environmental, health, and safety programs to foster a safe, sustainable, and compliant workplace.Your role:You’ll support the development and implementation of robust EHS programs that align with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as company sustainability goals.Work closely with cross-functional teams to conduct inspections, audits, and assessments that identify and reduce risk throughout the organization.Help embed operational safety controls and environmental initiatives at every level of the business to ensure long-term impact.Support the documentation and compliance efforts related to ISO 14001 (environmental management) and ISO 45001 (occupational health and safety).Be instrumental in training employees on safe work practices, emergency procedures, and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).This role offers the opportunity to influence key sustainability metrics including waste reduction, carbon emissions, and energy use, while gaining experience in a collaborative, growth-oriented environment.You’re the right fit if:You’ve acquired 4+ years of experience in environmental safety, occupational health, or safety management, ideally within a manufacturing or industrial setting.Your skills include knowledge of OSHA regulations, ISO 14001/45001 standards, and federal/state environmental and safety requirements.You have a degree in Environmental Sciences, Health & Safety, Sustainability, or a related field.
