The Role: Environmental & Sustainability Consultant
Location: Dublin

Perfect Recruitment are excited to be working with a fantastic SME supporting them with their continued growth as we seek an Environmental Consultant for their Dublin office.

Our client is an award-winning SME who are a values-based sustainability consultancy committed to social values, reducing its own environmental impact and supporting others to do the same. Our client is a women owned business and LGTBQIA led with clients in the UK, EU & USA.

Role Overview:
Join our team to deliver ISO management systems for environmental, energy, and sustainable events. Your role will involve strategic collaboration with clients, auditing, training, and implementing sustainability initiatives. This includes direct client engagement, project management, and the opportunity to represent our company at networking events and international travels.

Key Responsibilities:

– Develop and deliver ISO management systems, communicating effectively in various formats.
– Provide auditing, training, and implementation support on sustainability topics.
– Analyse and report on internal carbon footprints across emission scopes.
– Collaborate with the CEO to manage projects within time and budget constraints.
– Supervise postgraduate interns.
– Attend networking events to promote company services locally and internationally.

Essential Requirements:

– Master’s or bachelor’s degree in environmental science or a related field.
– Membership in a relevant institute (e.g., IEMA, Energy Institute).
– ISO 14001 Lead Auditor qualification.
– 3-5 years of relevant industry experience with references.
– Strong skills in project management, analysis, problem-solving, and teamwork.
– Commercial awareness and ability to adapt to changing requirements.
– Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
– Access to a vehicle with a clean driving license.
– Right to work in the UK without sponsorship.
– Valid passport and ability to travel internationally.
