This is a fantastic opportunity for an Estate Services Operative to join our expanding Estate Services Team within Greatwell Homes.If you have the experience and passion to help us achieve our goals and are highly proactive with a positive attitude, you might be just the person we are looking for so apply today!What you’ll be doing:The role of Estate Services Operative will ensure that our estates, communal and open spaces reflect our ambition to provide great properties and places for our customers. The role will consist of, amongst other tasks:

• Provide landscaping and grounds maintenance services, which may include mowing lawns and grassed areas, weeding, pruning, applying herbicide as instructed, planting, flowerbed maintenance.
• Undertake a wide range of other general caretaking duties including litter picking, sweeping, waste & refuse collection and removal, fly tipping removal and correct disposal, clearing, cleaning, and preparing a range of properties for occupation and the on-going cleaning and tidying of the internal communal areas, walkways and communal external landscaped areas.
• Clear the overgrown gardens of individual properties as required and correct disposal of all green waste from such activities.

About you:

• Some experience in residential and/or parks & gardens.
• Proven track record of complying with safe systems of work in areas accessible to the general public and the use of personal protective equipment.
• A proven track record of working as a team player.
• Some experience of working within a customer focused environment.
• Some experience in the safe operation of commercial electrical and mechanical grounds maintenance equipment.
• Must have and maintain a valid vehicle driving licence for the UK.
