Euronext Clearing is Euronext’s multi-asset clearing house. It is the CCP of choice for Euronext’s cash, financial and commodity derivatives markets across Europe, offering a harmonised clearing framework across Euronext venues.Workplace: Rome, via Tomacelli 146Key ResponsibilitiesThe resource will support the Chief Compliance Officer on the following activities:

• Support in the timely updating of the policies and procedures, etc. within the Compliance remit or other documentation for which Compliance provides coordination;
• Assist the CCO in the coordination and organisational activities related to inspections on site conducted by Regulators, if any;
• Support the CCO in the advisory activity to the ENXC business areas mainly in relation to the review and update of their respective internal procedures;
• Manage autonomously the coordination and timely completion of due diligences received from clearing members or other external counterparties;
• Support the execution of the compliance assessment and the additional controls, keeping the master action plan updated and the follow-ups executed in due course.

Candidate ProfileThe ideal candidate has:

• Legal or financial academic background
• Strong team working attitude
• Self starter
• Excellent analytical and organisational skills to meet deadlines and prioritise activities
• Ability to liaise/communicate effectively at all levels including seniors, managers or external parties (i.e. Regulators)
• Fluency in English is required
• At least 1 year-2 years experience
• Knowledge/ working experience in compliance, control or financial markets is a plus.
