Salary; Grade 6 £28,759.00 – £32,332 per annum

Location Dual Campus Singleton and Bay campus
The Estates and facilities directorate comprises of several service areas:
- Events, Catering, Sport and Commercial and Campus Services
- Capital and Minor Works Projects, Technical Services, Asset Management & Information Services and Utilities.
- Sustainability, Safety and Resilience.
This role sits within the Event services team who, each year, facilitate over 200 events from point of enquiry – to on the day, for bookings such as meetings, residential conferences, exhibitions, dinners and award ceremonies, over Singleton and the Bay campus.
The post holder will be required to coordinate a large portfolio of non-commercial and commercial events from conception to completion.
- Coordinate high profile University events.
- Communicate and negotiate with internal and external organisers to maximum the event diary and revenue.
- Accurately record all aspects of an event on the event management system.
- Liaise and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure the smooth running of events.

Significant experience of delivering event management and coordination services in a medium to large organisation

Experience of working in a busy and ever-changing office environment.
Proven organisational ability to deal with numerous competing tasks of a time sensitive nature and prioritise accordingly to ensure deadlines are met.
