Job DescriptionThe IP Connect Business hub is responsible for an application network for the provisioning and activation of Layer 2 and 3 products in the individual market. For our customers (business customers, carriers and internal deployments), we create short deployment times as well as a rapid introduction of new products and features. We achieve the highest level of operational excellence through automation.With our applications and services, we support and optimize the provisioning and activation of services when providing high-bit-rate GK and wholesale connections (fulfillment) as well as DTAG’s internal operating connections or networks. We work with colleagues in the neighboring hubs and applications to activate accounting as well as monitoring and troubleshooting.Your tasks:

• Analysis of requirements in the context of fulfillment processes in the wholesale and carrier business (IP transit/IP peering, CIS, WEV, GBC, etc.)

• Development and coordination of solution approaches together with the business side and architecture

• Formulation of user stories for the implementation of new requirements

• Update of system specifications

• Re-enactment and analysis of technical problems from the composite test or active environment

• Optimization of the system behavior by adapting the modeled workflows (graphical modeling environment – )

• Technical support of the developers in the implementation of user stories

• Technical support of the testers in the formulation of test cases

• Design and coordination of APIs with interface partners

Qualifications

• Degree in computer science, physics, engineering or a comparable qualification

• Experience in the field of business analysis, ideally in the field of telecommunications and OSS

• Previous knowledge of IP products in the wholesale and carrier business

• Enthusiasm for network technology-related tasks

• Knowledge of software testing is an advantage

• Experience with workflow management systems, ideally Xyna

• Strong analytical and conceptual skills

• Independent and solution-oriented way of working

• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team

• Written and spoken English and German language
