About the role
The successful candidate will join Nottingham Business School’s established Personalisation and Experiential Learning (PEL) team and will report to the Experiential Learning Coordinator.
The role will support successful learning outcomes for postgraduate students and contribute a crucial part of our students’ degree experience. Key responsibilities will include developing and managing relationships with employers, businesses and other bodies with the aim of negotiating and agreeing suitable work-like learning opportunities as well as other student experiences.
The role will suit someone who is highly organised as well as excellent at managing their own time and influencing others; who is great with people, and enjoys building relationships with internal and external individuals and businesses; who is able to discuss a wide range of real-life business challenges and projects and convert these in to challenge briefs; who can distil sometimes complex information in to a succinct written project brief and case study, and is confident using Microsoft tools.
The role will include external and internal networking with businesses and the creation of some content for marketing purposes. Previous experience working in academia or in a business development and customer relationship management role would be an advantage. Experience of event planning and organisation is also an advantage.
