Follow @abbvie on , , , , and .Job DescriptionAs External Affairs Manager, you will be acting as a partner to key healthcare stakeholders, KOLs, policymakers, payers, patient advocacy groups and professional industry associations, to build positive reputation for Abbvie in the region. You will identify and engage with opinion leaders and influencers in the healthcare sector to promote Abbvie values and interests, generating stakeholder’s insights, analyze, and utilizing payer value drivers. You will also engage relevant external stakeholders to deliver on agreed market access, corporate affairs and government affairs strategies and priorities, and manage relationship with the external vendors responsible for corporate affairs and Government affairs, providing customized value proposition to internal and external stakeholders.Responsibilities

• Implements strategies at a country level supporting AbbVie brands
• Collect and provide information on the health care policy changes and their impact on Abbvie
• Develop and deliver robust, credible value arguments and propositions for Abbvie products to stekaholders within the HU healthcare sector
• Establish constructive communication, transparency with local and regional teams
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align priorities as part of planning process
• Support product launches, ongoing business interests and External affairs activities.
• Prepare the market for our innovations, reach maximum awareness at decision making bodies

QualificationsQualification and Experience

• Relevant University degree
• Minimum 5 years direct experience in Public Affairs, Governements Affairs, Patient relations or Market Access
• Thorough understanding of the framework of the Hungarian pharmaceutical industry
• Strong strategic and analytical thinking
• Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills
• Excellent organizational, analytical and planning skills
• Excellent relation building skills
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Strong track of building ethical, compliant and professional relationships with all stakeholders included in pharma industry
• In-depth knowledge of HU Public Affairs, Governements Affairs and Patient relations requirements, pharmaceutical market ethical code, legislation, regulatory requirements, healthcare environment and competitive forces.
• Fluency in Hungarian & English (both written and verbal)
• High level of personal integrity and patient focus
• Proven ability to develop trust-based relationships with government officials, regulators, policymakers, Patient groups and other key stakeholders
• Ability to build strong network with internal organization and collaborate with others to accomplish shared goals
• Ability to analyze and influence the interests of AbbVie from a policy perspective
• Proven ability to understand and clearly communicate scientific and economic topics
• Ability to identify future trends that affect strategies and adapt them to enable the business to excel.
• Ability and willingness to work effectively with multiple products, projects and partners in cross-functional team setting.
• Strategic thinking, problem-solving oriented with excellence in execution
• Proficiency with political analysis and experience in assessing and interpreting political development and processes
• Proficiency with Corporate affairs and experience in assessing and interpreting media development and content creation
• Excellent organizational skills, ability to work and execute in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
• Strong analytical skills to access, develop and manage multistakeholder management
• Ability to provide direction and informally lead a cross-functional team to achieve objectives
• Ability to drive complex cross-functional collaboration to develop a strategy for the benefit of the business
