From day one, you will be assigned a buddy on your team who will help you get settled in, and ensure you are set up for a successful summer at EY.Your Role: You’ll work as part of team, meet with clients, and make a real contribution to EY projects. We trust the students who join EY for the summer to make a real impact, and we encourage you to do so. You will develop analytical and problem-solving skills, learn how to network, build working relationships and how to lead and manage projects.Work/Life Balance: Whilst there will be a certain focus on building your technical skillset, we also want to furnish our interns with the skills needed to manage their workload and create a healthy work/life balance. Throughout this 8-week programme, you will be invited to join us for sessions on a variety of wellbeing topics, as well as plenty of social outings so you can get to know your fellow colleagues and interns on the programme.Get to know EY: No matter what programme you choose, we want you to get to know us and what we do. They advise on all steps of a business’ strategic life cycle, including fundraisings, strategic advice, disposals, acquisitions, management buy-outs/buy-ins and succession planning.RestructuringThe Restructuring team provide services aimed at assisting under-performing clients to achieve a strategic turnaround. Working with corporates, stakeholders or lenders, we establish and help implement key financial and organisational solutions to enable them to adapt to changing economic conditions.StrategyThe Strategy team unlock our clients’ full potential by helping them answer their most complex strategic questions. They rely on rigorous Fact-based analysis and deep sector expertise to deliver insights that provoke unconventional thinking. They help clients create customized actionable strategies and then help them make these happen.Transaction SupportTransaction Support involves the provision of financial due diligence services for our clients who are considering either acquiring a business (buy-side or pre-acquisition due diligence) or selling all or part of their business (sell-side or vendor due diligence).Skills and attributes for success

• A minimum 2.1 or higher in your chosen Bachelor’s degree
