You will be a member of the Facilities team with responsibility for supporting School events on an ad-hoc basis.
The main duties include providing a high level of customer service at all times and act in a professional and courteous manner, referring queries to others as appropriate. You will assist the Facilities team with the set-up of rooms by moving furniture and setting up audio visual aids and carry out general cleaning duties as required in the buildings and grounds. You will deliver and setup food and drinks (including cutlery and crockery) for events to nominated areas and clean crockery, glassware, cooking utensils, equipment etc. including use of dishwashing machines. Another duty will be to cover reception when required. You will monitor and maintain a high standard of health and safety by resolving or reporting any issues that arise.
The successful applicant will have a proven ability to work as a member of a team and good interpersonal and organisational skills. The ability to follow instructions and work efficiently in a busy environment is essential. Previous experience in a customer services environment is a must. You will have an awareness of health and safety.
The working hours are as and when required.
