We leverage cutting-edge technology in combination with our global network of professionals applying diverse skills and experiences to make an impact that matters to our clients..Service line: The advisory team within Deloitte is committed to excellence, providing specialist advisory services to support our clients address complex accounting matters, ESG reporting, transactional events, internal financial controls and an expansive range of topics that result from market disruptions.About the role:As part of this role, you will be focused on supporting advisory work for finance functions and will typically be involved in some of the following key offerings mainly within the Technology and Financial Services industries:Month and Quarter End financial and management reporting and optimisationFinance process and control environment improvement projectsChart of Accounts (review, rationalisation, re-design)Design and implement new reporting requirements under IFRS / US GAAP / local GAAPDrive accounting, reporting and business process simplification and efficiency initiativesOversee statutory reporting requirementsContribute to business development and the strengthening of client relationshipsParticipate in the development of materials for and participate in the delivery of presentations to clients and firm personnel; andMentor and develop teams of advisory resources.About you:ACA, CA, CPA or ACCA qualification, or equivalentAudit experience preferredBig 4 experience preferredIndustry experience within financial reporting preferredUnderstanding of business processes and internal controlsBasic understanding or working knowledge of finance systems and controllership tools such as SAP, Oracle, BlackLine and WorkivaStrong communication and presentation skillsTeam player, ability to network across groups (such as Finance, IT, Business, Tax, Legal)Demonstrated ability to multitask, manage and complete multiple priorities on time with minimal direction.If you believe that you meet most of the criteria above, we advise you to apply.
