Job Posting Title: Finance AnalystReq ID: 10121642Job Description:About the Role & TeamThis team is responsible for marketing costs of our Studio content across Theatrical and streaming services. The Studio content is delivered by the following brands – Marvel, Lucas, Disney, Pixar, 20th Century, Searchlight, and New Regency. In addition the broader team is responsible for the Music business within EMEA – across recorded music, publishing and concerts.The role is responsible for delivering an effective, timely and accurate AOP, Forecast, FYP and close process for Studio Content Marketing. It requires effective collaboration with financial and non-financial business partners, communicating with key budget holders around risks and opportunities, and proactive identification of opportunities for business and process improvement.What You Will DoDelivery:Analyse and interpret reports and wider business data to identify risks and opportunities for Content MarketingPrepare analysis to communicate clear financial messages to a non-technical audienceUse own initiative to highlight problems before they arise and propose solutions to mitigate business riskProvide financial support to multiple budget owners across multiple geographies, managing updates of models, actuals and routine tasks as required to assist the wider teamTake responsibility for discrete Finance projects to deliver improved financial management or systems to the businessShare knowledge effectively across the function to facilitate good financial management and support the development of othersAny other FP&A activity to support the team as requiredBusiness partnering:Build relationships with key budget holders to provide specialist advice, guidance and support to help financial managementInfluence key budget holders on the basis of identified risks and opportunities to help guide future business planningProvide cover for SFA, deputising in their absence to provide support and guidance to business stakeholdersRequired Qualifications & SkillsAccounting qualification (part qualified or qualified) e.g. ACCA, CIMADemonstrable track record of providing commercial support to a business partner that’s insightful, timely and responsive.Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.Ability to produce clear and insightful analysis that delivers key messaging at the appropriate level of detail.Experience of supporting commercial management to a high standard and working with the Regional Finance and Commercial head office.Numerate and analytical with a desire to think through and resolve problems.
