Our main areas covered are: General Ledger Accounting, Management Accounting, Treasury and Accounts Receivable. The department is constantly expanding since our main goal is to perform end-to-end accounting activities in the near future.As a Finance and Accounting Team Lead you will coordinate complete, stringent and timely finance and accounting tasks the department’s scope covers and proactively seek opportunities to allow more effective cooperation between teams / team members regardless of country / functional assignments.In this role, you will focus on:Leading people management activities including goal setting, recruitment, and performance evaluationEnsuring the service quality in the responsible areaProactively and constructively managing change initiativesFostering relationships with stakeholders in the respective business areaProviding and organizing assistance to other teams or team members facing workload or expertise challengesFostering a collaborative team environment where everyone thrivesWho you areWe are looking for someone who is self motivated, really passionate about his or her job and understands that providing a high-quality service is crucial for the organization. As an ideal team member you are open-minded, dedicated to make a difference and open to constant development. Furthermore, you have:University degree, preferably in Finance/Accounting related disciplineACCA or other accounting professional qualifications will be an added advantage5+ years of working experience in related fieldProficiency in relevant accounting software preferably SAP and MS office toolsStrong communication skills, expressing ideas and expectations in a clear and concise mannerAbility to work comfortably in a dynamic, changing and growing environmentProficiency in EnglishIn exchange we provide you with:Development opportunities: Roche is rich in learning resources.
