Our Client, a multinational consumer products company, is currently looking for a:Finance Business Partner ItalyReporting to Europe Senior Finance Manager, the resource will be a key member of the Europe Finance team with responsibilities over financial planning, reporting and analysis, A&P and overhead control.Internal key relationships will include Spain Finance Analysts, SRGM Manager Italy, Italy Sales Analysts, Head of Sales Italy, Italy Controllership and Europe FP&A Manager.Areas of responsibility:Business Partnering

• Both challenging and supporting the Commercial Director for Italy in all Financial matters including actuals performance and forward forecasting & budgeting

• Ensuring the Commercial Director for Italy is fully informed and understands the financial performance of the business and the monthly, quarterly and annual forecast positions vs targets at all times

• Act as project lead for key Italian projects to assist in financially evaluating new business & developing improved processes; Work alongside sales analyst to improve overall financial decision support to the Italian team

Annual Budgeting

• Work with the Commercial Director of Italy to develop the annual sales forecast for the Italian business

• Ensure Italy’s budget is loaded into appropriate systems for global review

• Report on global and regional performance against the budget and outlook for the remainder of the year; Analyze any areas of under or over performance

Strategic Planning / Quarterly Reporting

• Work with the Commercial Director of Italy to develop the detailed three-year financial plan for the business; Analyze and assess new launch plans, retailer growth and category outlook to underpin assumptions

• Prepare any reconciliations related to Italy’s performance; Calculate & track other elements including ECOM, NPD, SRGM, Bonus etc.

Deflator Management / Spend Controls

• Review, authorize & control the level of promotional Investment in the Italy P&L including reconciliation to Balance Sheet; Carry out Sox and external audit requirements for deflator

• Ensure A&P Investment and Overhead costs are controlled and evaluated as required

Requirements:

• University degree or equivalent in commercial or finance related subject

• Min. 4-5 years of experience in Finance with background in similar roles in other companies. Nice to have experience in Big4

• Strong attention to details; Ability to problem solve across a wide range of issues; Good interpersonal and management skills

• Recognized Accountancy qualification (CIMA Preferably)

• Strong IT and technical skills: SAP, Promax / HPL (Hyperion), MS Office

• English fluent, Spanish nice to have
