As part of the South region under Europe, the sub-region of Turkey unites Yara’s activities in Turkey.Finance & Administration Manager Turkey will be accountable for the local legal, statutory and tax compliance of one or several legal entities. The Manager will be responsible for connecting and communicating with Supply Chain, Customer Service, Controlling, Sales, Group Accounting, and local management stakeholders on activities with significant impact on the financial performance the legal entity.Note: this position is based in Turkey, Istanbul.ResponsibilitiesFinance & Administration Manager Turkey will mainly covers the following elements :

• Accountable for the IFRS compliance, local GAAP financials, local regulatory compliance and tax reporting to the legal entities ;
• Signs with the Country legal Representant, the legal entity statutory and tax financial statements ;
• Leads day-to-day reporting and control activities for the legal entities, and ensures alignment with Finance Operations – Reporting & control, Credit management ;
• Leads day-to-day reporting and control activities for the legal entities, and ensures alignment with Finance Operations – Reporting & control, Credit management, indirect tax and Continuous improvement ;
• Accountable for cash and currency risk exposure management (inc. hedging) and bank relationships. Contact point for central treasury team ;
• Consulted for local transfer pricing documentation ;
• Responsible for Business Plan preparation, Financial Planning and Analysis ( FP&A) ;
• Main contact point for legal entity for internal & external audits ;
• Accountable for local tax planning and risk analysis ;
• Additional responsibilities (e.g. company secretary, pension fund board member) depending on country specific requirements for a legal entity ;
• Accountable for finance related information to Board meetings and shareholder agreement ;
• Accountable for finance related communication to employees and unions ;
• Accountable for proper financing of entities in consultation with Yara Tax and Yara Finance ;
• Business partner for the supported business and Commercial Director in matters related to finance ;
• Participation on improvement activities e.g. standardization and harmonization of accounting practices ;
• Participates in development project ;
• Additional responsibilities (e.g. company secretary, pension fund board member) depending on country specific requirements for a legal entity ;
• Support on the personnel Payrol with the local agency ;
• Act as a business partner for any commercial decision within Turkey.

Profile

• Possession of a Master’s degree in Accounting or equivalent by experience ;
• Demonstrated at least 10 years of work experience within Finance, including minimum 5 years as Chief Accountant, Finance Manager or similar role ;
• Fluent in English, both verbal and written communication ;
• Proficient Excel skills ;
• Experience in SAP and HFM knowledge of Power BI is an advantage.
