Job DescriptionFinance Manager ItalyMy client is a prominent player in the energy transition, dedicated to driving sustainable solutions across Europe, Latin America, Southeast Asia, the Indian Ocean, and Africa. They specialise in innovative renewable energy projects, with a strong focus on C&I and energy efficiency initiatives.As part of their ambitious growth strategy in Europe, my client is seeking a Finance Manager to lead finance and administrative activities in Italy. The successful candidate will report to the General Manager Italy and functionally to the CFO Europe.Location: Milan, ItalyKey Responsibilities:

• Perform financial control and corporate finance functions.

• Prepare, consolidate, and monitor financial indicators in line with group guidelines and local requirements.

• Oversee internal reporting, ensure accurate IFRS accounting supervision for monthly closures.

• Develop and maintain internal controls to protect assets, execute business plans, and ensure regulatory and group policy compliance.

• Manage cash flow and forecasts in collaboration with Group Treasury to optimize financing and cash management.

• Implement and oversee business controls, ensuring efficient information processes and secure transactions.

• Supervise and optimize resource allocation and profitability through budget oversight.

• Serve as the local point of contact for financial and compliance counterparty checks.

• Act as the local governance referent, liaising with European and Group legal teams.

• Oversee compliance matters in coordination with European and Group Compliance teams.

• Support HR functions in collaboration with the Europe HR Officer and Group HR teams.

This role is instrumental in driving the company’s growth and operational efficiency in Italy, directly impacting decision-making and business objectives.Requirements:

• Master’s degree in Economics, Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Administrative, Financial, and Legal Secretary Management (including accounting, FP&A, tax regulations, and project finance is a plus).

• Fluency in Italian and English is mandatory.

• Strong financial control skills, including attention to detail, organizational abilities, and adherence to reporting deadlines.

• Motivation to work in an international and entrepreneurial environment.
