Additionally, the team drives control excellence efforts by providing support to Regulatory reporting teams in various control related aspects.The role will involve extensive interaction with the Regulatory reporting team and a variety of other functions within the organization including Policy, Risk, IT, Legal, Business, so the candidate will need to possess good communication skills.What you’ll doCoordinate and monitor control oversight activities across Hungary Regulatory CSC team, including support in relation to key controls, such as monthly submission calendar activities incl. key performance indicator calculationMonitor issue and corrective action plan status and provide administrative supportFacilitate knowledge sharing through regular control forumPerform periodic testing and validation of relevant regulatory rules to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, and reporting changes are timely captured and correctly implementedHelp implement a remediation plan to address issues identified during the validationMaintenance and further enhancement of control environment applicable to the framework and infrastructure of the International Conformance Testing programEnsure that procedures, process notes and manuals are up-to-date and applied correctly, provide support to internal/external audit reviewsBuild and maintain excellent relationships with all stakeholders and colleaguesLiaise effectively with multiple departments (including Regulatory Reporting, Treasury, Risk and Technology) on a regular basisProactively identify, escalate, and assist in resolving issues identified through the periodic review and control oversight exercisesParticipate in projects to implement any new or changing regulatory and/or policy requirements and enhancing the International Conformance Testing team’s framework and infrastructureUse your experience and knowledge to drive and contribute to outstanding team performanceDeliver ad hoc risk and control related tasks as instructed by your managerWhat we’ll need from youBachelor’s/University degree in Finance Accounting or Economics5+ years of relevant work experience in banking accounting / reporting / controlling / risk and controls areaFluent English language skills is a mustKnowledge of main regulatory reporting rules and instructions, Finance processes and controlsInterpret the regulations and build offline models to compare to production regulatory rules and calculationsProfessional qualifications such as ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent, would be beneficialWhat we can offer youThis role will offer you the opportunity to build a solid understanding of financial services operations and deepen your knowledge about effective regulatory requirements.
