Opis klienta:We are seeking a Financial Analyst for our client in the e-commerce industry to join the EMEA Accounting team.This role is responsible for controllership and accounting functions across multiple legal entities and stakeholders. The focus will be on financial reporting, process improvements, and cross-border projects to enhance global operations. Additionally, the role involves implementing best practices, leveraging new technologies, and driving financial policies in collaboration with international leadershipZakres odpowiedzialności:

• Leading and driving various meetings with senior management on key financial statement areas;
• Ownership of the monthly, quarterly, and annual closes for the EMEA operations while implementing and maintaining adequate mechanisms and forums for reviews, decision making and escalations with finance partners and management;
• Driving standardization and continuous improvement of processes and controls to obtain the highest integrity of financial reporting (US, local GAAP, and management reporting)-including partnering with appropriate stakeholders, for a successful end-to-end approach to reporting’
• Delivering functional projects on a cross-country level, such as implementing best accounting/ controllership practice to enhance and deepen the control environment;
• Ensuring that the EMEA Accounting activities are aligned across the Worldwide Accounting Organization;
• Influencing and articulating accounting/ finance terminology to the non-finance community;
• Supports internal and external audit processes.

Profil kandydata:

• Extensive relevant experience in accounting functions;
• CPA / ACCA / ACA / CIMA or equivalent certification;
• Knowledge of GAAP accounting rules including US GAAP and IFRS;
• Fluency in English;
• Working understanding of an internal control framework and a solid understanding of the concepts of control design and operational efficiency.

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience working for an International, medium to large fast-paced company;
• Computer literate in general (MS office, Essbase, Cognos and similar). Knowledge of Oracle is a plus;
• Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines while managing multiple projects;
• Ability to dive deep into data, existing processes, people and technology challenges in order to identify issues and opportunities.
