Full-time | Permanent Contract

With continued growth and expansion across Belgium, we are seeking a Financial Controller to oversee financial operations, reporting, compliance, and strategic planning while collaborating closely with senior management and external accounting partners.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Financial Reporting & Analysis:

* Prepare and manage monthly financial reports for operational companies (OpCos)
* Review and validate financial data, acting as a liaison between OpCos and the CEO
* Assist in annual budget preparation for OpCos and the group
* Provide financial input for quarterly Board of Directors presentations
* Support the preparation of financial statements and annual audits
* Contribute to financial sections of the annual report and General Assembly minutes

Collaboration & Coordination:

* Oversee invoice processing and accounting, coordinating with external service providers
* Work with external accounting firms to ensure accurate bookkeeping
* Provide financial insights for acquisition business plans

Process Improvement & Compliance:

* Monitor and improve financial processes for efficiency and compliance
* Manage credit applications and oversee the credit portfolio

Strategic Support:

* Support senior stakeholders with ad hoc financial analyses
* Ensure timely and accurate reporting for decision-making

WHO YOU ARE

* Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
* Experience as a Financial Controller or similar role
* Proficient in financial software and advanced Excel skills
* Team player with strong communication skills in Dutch and English (French is a plus)
* Detail-oriented with a hands-on, no-nonsense mentality
* Strong analytical and organizational skills
* Always seeking to optimize workflows and processes
