How you’ll help us.Based at our EMEA Headquarters, just outside of Amsterdam, Netherlands, you will be reporting to the Manager Group Financial Control, and as part of the role, you’ll:

• Post, prepare, and review journals and reconciliations on the financial accounts for the period-end closing to ensure a smooth month-, quarter-, and year-end closing process.
• Take part in the external audit process and ensure timely delivery of specific requests.
• Be involved in the consolidation process for the ASICS Europe Group and the consolidated reporting for ASICS Europe to ASICS HQ.
• Proactively support the Group Financial Control Manager in improving financial control processes, streamlining accounting operations, and ensuring accurate accounting treatments.
• Assist the Group Financial Control Manager in complying with the local legislation and regulatory requirements regarding finance and accounting.

More about you.

• Three or more years of experience in working in a multinational environment within Finance, preferrable in financial control.
• Bachelor’s degree (or higher qualification) in Accountancy or Business Economics (certified accountant).
• Knowledge of all accounting functions and business processes.
• Advanced Excel skills.

• User experience of financial software packages.
