This versatile role offers plenty of opportunities for your personal and professional growth.What you do as Financial ControllerYou, along with your colleagues from the Record to Report team, are responsible for the financial control of all Dutch and several International companies of Royal HaskoningDHV. Additionally, you contribute to innovating our financial control process through BlackLine, automation (RPA), and our Continuous Monitoring Platform.Your responsibilities include:

• Financial administration: Ensuring accurate and timely financial administration, including specialized tasks such as intercompany reconciliation, VAT, and WKR.
• Reporting & analysis: Preparing balance analyses and specifications for monthly, quarterly, and annual closings, and contributing to financial statements using BlackLine.
• Audit: Providing support during various audits.
• Process optimization: Identifying and implementing improvements in financial processes.

Within Finance, we work in various disciplines such as project accounting, financial and business control, treasury, and credit control. Together, we contribute to a healthy Royal HaskoningDHV, with a diverse team of finance professionals who pursue innovative solutions and continuous improvement.What you bring with youYou have a background in Finance & Control or Accountancy with a completed HBO or WO degree in Accounting & Control and approximately 3 to 5 years of work experience. You are accurate, proactive, and eager to learn, and you possess project management skills. Additionally, you bring the following:

• Excellent communication skills.
• Thorough knowledge of financial processes and AO/IC, with strong conceptual and analytical abilities.
• Affinity with IT systems and Excel, and a drive to improve and make financial processes more efficient.
• Good planning and organizational skills to meet tight deadlines and set priorities.
• Fluent in speaking and writing English.
