Financial Controller | Multi-Site Hospitality Operator | France | A‚¬60,000 + Bonus

I am searching for an experienced Financial Controller to oversee the full financial governance of a growing multi-site hospitality business in France. This role requires a qualified accountant with strong commercial insight, excellent modelling capabilities, and the ability to operate in a fast-paced, early-stage environment.

The successful candidate will take full ownership of financial reporting for the French market, ensure compliance with UK and local requirements, and build robust financial tools that support both operational performance and long-term growth.

Your Experience

* Fully qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, or French equivalent with UK-compliant experience)
* Background in QSR, retail, franchise or multi-site operations (strongly preferred)
* Advanced financial modelling skills: labour, COGS, forecasting, multi-site performance
* Solid understanding of operational levers and unit-level economics
* Experience working across different regulatory environments
* Fluent in French and English

Your Responsibilities

Financial Control & Reporting

* Full ownership of the French P&L for group reporting
* Cashflow management, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
* Labour modelling, margin analysis, and operational performance reporting

Franchise & Commercial Support

* Royalty reporting, sales verification, reconciliation
* Develop clear dashboards and financial tools for internal stakeholders
* Provide commercial insights to support growth and operational decision-making

Audit & Compliance

* Ensure full compliance with UK audit requirements
* Coordinate with French shared services (HR, tax, payroll)
* Maintain high standards of accuracy, governance, and financial discipline

Process Building

* Create financial models, systems, and routines from scratch
* Implement scalable reporting processes in a fast-moving environment
