• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including hardware engineers, software engineers, and product designers to develop and implement firmware solutions for home appliances electronics systems.
• Design, develop, and maintain firmware codebase for the control and operation of electronics components such as touch controls, displays, LEDs, audible feedback systems, etc.
• Implement features and functionalities according to product requirements, ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and efficiency.
• Conduct thorough testing and debugging of firmware to identify and resolve issues, ensuring compatibility with hardware components and overall system integrity.
• Optimize firmware algorithms and performance to enhance user experience, responsiveness, and energy efficiency.
• Collaborate with quality assurance teams to define and execute firmware testing procedures, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in firmware development, applying relevant advancements to improve product offerings.
• Provide technical support and expertise to internal teams and external partners throughout the product development lifecycle, including prototyping, production, and post-launch support.

• Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience in firmware development for embedded systems, with a focus on user interface design and implementation.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as C, C++, and assembly language for embedded systems.
• Strong understanding of microcontroller architectures, peripherals, and communication protocols (e.g., UART, SPI, I2C).
• Experience with real-time operating systems (RTOS) and embedded software development tools (e.g., compilers, debuggers, IDEs).
• Familiarity with hardware schematics and PCB layout considerations, understanding of analog and digital circuit design principles is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to debug complex firmware issues and optimize code for performance and reliability.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment.
