The Trading Desk, within the Investment Department of Generali Asset Management (GenAM) is responsible for the execution activity on all the asset classes. The position will be based in Italy.The trader will work closely with the portfolio managers and will be involved in trading Fixed Income, OTC derivatives and Forex:

Execution of orders on Fixed Income, OTC derivative and Forex transactions with a strong focus on the government bonds
Proven ability to manage relationships and agility to face operational tasks
Ability to work proactively across the whole execution workflow cycle supporting other business departments within the Business Unit
Build strong relationship with Portfolio Manager and stakeholders
Ability to access market condition aimed to obtain the best trading results in the interest of the Client
Interaction with Middle and Back-Office on post trade execution

Our ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:

Academic background preferably in Economic, Statistics, Mathematics or Engineering
Strong analytical and technical skills
Strong knowledge of financial markets with a focus on Fixed Income and OTC derivatives instruments
Strong team player, flexible
Confident and autonomous
Accurate to details and responsive
Accountable, willing to bring value and new ideas, reliable
Fluent in English (others is a plus)
Ability to work in an international environment
Resilient under stress, performance oriented with a strong degree of motivation
High degree of motivation and proactivity
