• You are the donut innovation expert, leading mid-complexity innovation projects. You connect marketing, procurement, quality and production with your bakery know-how.
• You spot market shifts and tech innovations – translating insights into proactive innovations that feed the strategic pipeline.
• You balance between long-term R&D and fast-paced New Product Development – aiming to launch new donuts in collaboration with marketing.
• You understand the production plant’s full potential, drive process improvements, and play a key role in implementing new technologies.
• You build expertise through research and events – and multiply its impact by sharing insights and giving training across Vandemoortele.
• You stay closely connected to ingredients and equipment suppliers.
• You report to the R&D Director Bakery Products.

ProfielA food technologist with a strong appetite for cross-functional collaborationJob requirements

• Master’s degree in food chemistry, food technology or bio-engineering or other related fields.
• Some years of experience in the food industry and strong interest in (bakery) ingredients and processing.
• Experience in projectmanagement.
• Fluent in English; a working knowledge of French is required due to frequent interactions with the Reims and Séneffe site.
