Job description

As a Freelance Prevention Advisor, you will support our safety culture and risk management system at our East Flanders site. You will collaborate with the Head of Prevention and a fellow advisor to ensure workplace safety and compliance.Advise on machinery purchases, PPE, and risk assessments.Work with external partners on risk evaluations (e.g., ergonomics, noise).Act as the safety contact for authorities, internal teams, and partners.Participate in production meetings and support safety initiatives.Monitor risks, conduct safety rounds, and investigate incidents.Improve emergency and evacuation plans and liaise with emergency services.Contribute to the annual safety action plan.Report to the Head of Prevention and act as secretary for the Safety Committee.A freelance position offering independence and career growth.A dynamic and innovative work environment.Certified Prevention Advisor Level 1 or willing to obtain certification.Experience in a safety role within a production environment preferred.Strong analytical, independent, and proactive mindset.Excellent attention to detail and sense of responsibility.Proficient in MS Word and Excel; SAP knowledge is a plus.Fluent in Dutch and French; English is required for international communication.Our client is a leading food manufacturer with high-quality standards and a strong presence in Europe.
