Calling all forwarding agents – are you ready for the fast lane?A typical day in this roleYour day starts with reviewing your active shipments, ensuring everything is on track. Mid-morning, you negotiate rates with carriers and finalize transport plans for an urgent shipment. Before lunch, you check in with a new client to guide them through their onboarding process. After a quick break, you troubleshoot a customs issue, keeping the client updated on progress. Later, you collaborate with your team to optimize processes and find smarter ways to handle logistics challenges.But this isn’t your typical 9-to-5 job. If you love fast-paced problem-solving, enjoy working in a tight-knit team, and thrive when juggling multiple moving parts, this is the role for you. As a Freight Forwarder for our team covering France, you’ll be joining 6 awesome people that keeps 160-170 trucks on track daily, ensuring seamless transport across the homeland of Croissants🥐At LEMAN, we do things differently. • Coordinate and manage freight transport across France, ensuring smooth operations and on-time deliveries.
• Build strong relationships with carriers and customers, acting as their go-to contact for everything from pricing to problem-solving.
• Navigate logistical challenges—from route changes to customs delays—keeping trucks moving and clients informed.
• Stay on top of local regulations and business practices—like France’s lunchtime closures and road tax rules.

In your application, we hope to see:

• Some experience in freight forwarding, transport planning, or logistics coordination
• Fluency in Danish and English—French is a plus you’ll be working closely with French carriers and customers.

• A problem-solving mindset—you thrive in fast-paced situations and can make quick, informed decisions.
• Excellent communication skills—you know how to keep clients, carriers, and colleagues in the loop.

• The ability to multitask under pressure—handling 10-20 trucks daily requires serious coordination.
