Role: Front Office Manager – Luxury Hotel

Based in: Amsterdam, Netherlands

Salary: A‚¬4,300-A‚¬4,500 gross per month

We are seeking a talented and energetic Front Office Manager to oversee Front Office operations at a prestigious, internationally recognized upper-upscale hotel in Amsterdam. This role offers an exceptional opportunity for a hospitality leader who thrives under pressure, takes pride in leading diverse teams, and is dedicated to creating memorable guest experiences.

The successful candidate will be responsible for all Front Office operations, guaranteeing operational excellence, upholding high guest satisfaction standards, and fostering team performance and growth.

Key Responsibilities:

* Manage, coach, and develop a Front Office team of around 20 members, including supervisors and front desk staff
* Guarantee seamless daily Front Office operations while upholding service standards and operational efficiency
* Achieve outstanding guest satisfaction through proactive guest interactions and efficient service recovery
* Track departmental performance, productivity, and quality indicators
* Oversee scheduling, labor costs, and staffing levels in line with business needs
* Work closely with Housekeeping, Revenue Management, Reservations, Food & Beverage, and other departments to deliver seamless guest experiences
* Maintain compliance with company policies, procedures, and brand standards
* Assist with recruitment, onboarding, training, and succession planning for the department
* Review operational reports and pinpoint opportunities for ongoing improvement
* Serve as Manager on Duty as needed and provide leadership during busy periods

Candidate Profile:

* At least 2 years of leadership experience in an upper-upscale hotel with 200+ rooms
* Solid Front Office operational background with a focus on exceptional guest service
* Familiarity with Opera Cloud PMS
* Fluent communication skills in English and Dutch
* Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
* Capability to excel in a fast-paced, high-volume setting
* Background in an international hotel chain
* Understanding of revenue optimization and upselling techniques
* Experience with quality assurance and guest satisfaction initiatives
