We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Frontend Developer to join our diverse and global team at Allianz Technology, the internal IT provider for the Allianz Group. You will work with English-speaking developers to implement and maintain frontend libraries and workflow application for multiple countries. The ideal candidate is proficient in Angular and TypeScript, has a passion for continuous learning, and possesses excellent English communication skills as well as team player’s attitude.You Will

• Extend and maintain a Component library used by over a dozen application within Allianz ecosystem, ensuring consistency, scalability, and reusability across projects.
• Stay updated with the latest Angular features, tools, and best practices.
• Utilize Schematics and Github Actions to automate repetitive generative tasks and streamline development processes.
• Provide support to development teams across the globe during onboarding and offer third-level assistance in resolving complex technical issues and discussions with business.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, demoing and debugging to ensure high-quality software delivery.
• Document technical decisions, specifications, procedures, and guidelines.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to extend a win-win situation between clear business requirements and timely code developments.
• Coordinate with teams from other areas across to ensure seamless updates and releases
• Develop comprehensive unit and end to end tests to ensure reliability, performance, and functionality.
• Create UI components according to predefined UX designs (NDBX) and interact with APIs contracts provided by expert backend teams.
• Conduct feasibility and effort estimation of task and new developments even during the early sprints of the project.

Your Skills

• Proven experience as an Angular/TypeScript Developer or similar role.
• Strong understanding of Angular framework concepts, including components, services, routing, and dependency injection.
• 5+ years of software development experience.
• 4+ years of experience with Angular 2+, ECMAScript 6+, NodeJS.
• Knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS and HTTP integrations.
• Experience with version control systems (Git) and familiarity with automated testing frameworks like Jasmine and Karma and end to end ones such as Cypress or Playwright.
• Experience with cloud development and Github (Monorepo).
• Proficiency in development methods and tools: CI/CD Pipeline, Clean Code, DevOps, FE Security and UX/UI sensibility.
• Experience participating in Scrum or other agile methodologies.
• Self-motivated and able to work efficiently through ambiguity without close supervision.
• Must demonstrate good judgment and a pragmatic approach to delivering software.
• Understanding of enterprise software design patterns and coding guidelines and standards.
• Experience in using Jira and Confluence.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (B2+).
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Consummated team player open to received feedback and keep evolving with the team to become a robust development unit.
