Applications are invited for a permanent post of a Full Professor of Civil Engineering within UCD School of Civil Engineering.The School of Civil Engineering is a dynamic, research driven school with a clear focus on delivering excellent research and education. Our colleagues are worldleading researchers in critical infrastructure and water resources, and we now have a focus on strengthening our expertise relating to climate change, sustainable construction, renewable energy and digital transformation and analyticsThe School of Civil Engineering now seeks to appoint a Full Professor of Civil Engineering. The successful candidate will have a recognised track record of internationally competitive research achievement, prestigious funding awards, an exceptional publication record with demonstrated impact, and having significant expertise in one or more of the following areas:

• Climate change,
• Sustainable construction,
• Renewable energy,
• Digital transformation & analytics.

Salary Scale 95 Full Professor (7937) Salary Scale 6 points: €140,068 – €177,079 per annum
Appointment will be made on scale and in accordance with the Department of Finance guidelines.The University will be supported in this appointment process by the executive search firm Perrett Laver.
