Join us in shaping the future of legal tech!Position OverviewWe’re looking for a Fullstack Engineer skilled in TypeScript to build and maintain scalable web apps. You’ll work on both the frontend and backend to create a smooth user experience. This is a full-time remote position that includes working in the CET time zone.Key Responsibilities

• Frontend:

• Build responsive, user-friendly interfaces with Next.js and TypeScript.
• Work with designers to turn UI/UX designs into functional apps.
• Backend:

• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs with NestJS and TypeScript.
• Design secure, scalable backend architecture.
• Integrate with PostgreSQL and Elasticsearch.
• Collaboration & Best Practices:

• Work with product managers, designers, and engineers in an Agile environment.
• Write clean, maintainable, and documented code.
• Conduct code reviews and give constructive feedback.
• Keep up with new technologies and bring fresh ideas.

Requirements

• Technical Skills:

• Strong knowledge of TypeScript.
• Experience with React and SSR implementation.
• Experience building responsive cross-browser UI
• Understanding of CI/CD, testing frameworks, and version control (e.g., Git).
• Soft Skills:

• Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication and teamwork.
• Proactive and eager to learn.
• Intermediate English level.
• Education & Experience:

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in frontend, backend, or full-stack development.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Next.js or similar SSR frameworks
• Backend experience with Node.js (NestJS preferably)
• Familiarity with PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch.
• Experience with Google Cloud.
• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum.
• Familiarity with DDD.
• Familiarity with AI tools for code assistance.

What We Offer

• Contract-based, full-time role (40 hours/week) with a long-term commitment + options for employee role in UK or US.
• 100% distributed. Founder currently lives in Birmingham UK but may move to San Francisco.
• Competitive salary and option for share options depending on tenure and cash/equity balance preference
