Summary of the Role

As a software development engineer, you will join the ACRS UI System Team, responsible for delivering transversal components, developing frontend and middleware tools, and providing technical support. Its primary focus is to enhance the developer experience for Hotel UI teams.

In This Role You Will :

Each of our web applications consists of a frontend built with Angular and a middleware using Java (OJF3, Spring). The middleware consumes data from webservices exposed by various backends owned by different other teams.

In this context, you will:

• Develop and maintain the ACRS UI Portal: the framework (web components, frontend services, middleware) ensuring a unified experience between applications.
• Develop and maintain AFL: the shared middleware library.
• Provide recommendations, design solutions, and develop tools to enhance the developer experience.
• Participate in the solutioning, design, and development of new features.
• Provide technical support.
• Be a driving force in initiatives to make ACRS and other Hospitality products converge.

About the ideal candidate :

With 2+ years of experience as a software developer, you are familiar with frontend and backend development.

Frontend development:

• HTML, CSS, Javascript, Typescript
• Experience with a frontend framework
• Experience with the following is a plus
• Angular
• Design Factory
• Web components
• Playwright

Backend development:

• Experience with Java development
• REST/SOAP API knowledge
• Experience with the following is a plus
• Spring
• OJF
• Azure DevOps

Other skills:

• Good communication
• Basic knowledge of agile methodologies
• You can easily adapt to the constant evolution of the software technologies
• You have the willingness to learn, share your ideas, and improve yourself every day

Business Environment

Hotel UI department is responsible for the administration user interface on top of ACRS (Amadeus Central Reservation System). Comprising several teams, this department develops web applications using Angular and Java. These applications are critical for hotel chains’ operations.
