ROLE:Functional Safety Manager
LOCATION: Dublin, Ireland
SALARY: Negotiable
DURATION: Permanent

Main Responsibilities:
•Oversee all work products in the project Safety Plan across all lifecycle stages.
•Ensure functional safety compliance by coordinating with internal teams and automotive customers.
•Assess customer requirements related to quality, safety, and reliability with product teams.
•Collaborate on project planning, progress tracking, and reporting with Functional Safety and development teams.
•Participate in safety reviews and provide reports.
•Maintain and improve safety methods and templates.

Key Qualifications:
•BSEE with 8+ years or MSEE with 7+ years of relevant experience.
•Knowledge of DDR, PCIe, UCIE protocols.
•Experience with semiconductor development processes (digital design preferred).
•ISO 26262 training required; PMP desirable.
•Experience with ISO 26262 work products (hardware focus).
•Proven Functional Safety Manager in safety-critical applications.
•Experience qualifying systems to ISO 26262 ASIL levels (up to ASIL D).
•Proficiency in English.
•Familiarity with JAMA, DOORS, or similar tools.
•Knowledge of AEC Q100 and quality standards (ISO 9001, IATF 16949) is a plus.
