We are looking for experienced and enthusiastic Gardeners to help maintain the highest
standards in our award winning gardens. Your varied role will require a full range of
horticultural skills and use of landscaping equipment and you will be supported with the
resources to help implement projects and ongoing improvements.
Reporting to a City Gardens Team Leader and working closely with the City Gardens Management
Team, the successful candidate will need horticultural experience, preferably in busy urban
greenspaces, and be able to demonstrate passion, knowledge and experience in the field of
horticulture.
This position will involve working some evenings and Saturdays 36 weeks of the year (April
-Oct), having Sunday and Monday off, 16 weeks of the year working Monday to Friday (Oct –
March). Duties will include locking up gardens.
