About your future role
We are in search of a knowledgeable GDPR Risk Officer, who together with your colleagues, can ensure the company’s continuous compliance with data protection regulation, related laws, and standards.You will be an essential part of our GDPR Team, where you will refer to our Senior GDPR Risk Lead and our Head of Security, Risk & Compliance.We are a team with highly competent and passionate colleagues ensuring that our data are sufficiently protected across our business units.We are responsible for leading and supporting the implementation of data protection requirements across the business units, performing operational controls, and monitoring and maintaining data protection platforms in close cooperation with the business units.To Thrive in This Position

Key Responsibilities & Tasks

• Advising and guiding business units on general and specific data protection related questions and issues
• Maintain and monitor internal privacy tools and RoPAs
• Monitoring actual GDPR compliance
• Aligning with GDPR colleagues and identification of solutions to protect personal data to support our European journey
• Drafting TIAs, LIAs, Privacy Risk Assessments and help conduct DPIAs
• Conducting ad hoc audits of Business and Group Units
• Monitoring changes in regulation, interpretation of national data protection laws, as well as GDPR, and facilitating implementation of these
• Assist and consult on data breach management

• Legal background (e.g., Master of Law, cand.merc.jur)
• Good communication skills in Danish and English both verbal and written
• Minimum 1-3 years of professional experience working with GDPR
• Knowledge of Nordic jurisdictions and administrative practice of data protection supervisory authorities, and willingness to dive into other regions privacy laws

Additional skillsets and experience that would make you a good fit:

• If you have worked in an international context and have gained experience and knowledge about legislation in other jurisdictions, while having English as working language
• If you have experience with risk management and/or enterprise risk management
• Knowledge of EU regulations in general
• Any Data Protection Certifications
• Having experience in 1st/2nd line of defence work
