With a relentless focus on improving system performance and stability, we continually strive to find new and better ways to innovate and support the Group.Job DescriptionWe are looking for a highly experienced Gen AI Specialist (Senior AI Engineer) to join our GenAI Squad and play a key role in the development and implementation of AI-driven products. This person will be responsible for leveraging existing large language models (LLMs) and other generative AI solutions to create a variety of products or integrate GenAI services into third-party solutions. Additionally, they will stay up to date with new models and assist the company’s Proof of Concept (PoC) team when needed.AccountabilitiesWithin this role you will

• Implement and deploy GenAI-based solutions in production environments.
• Utilize existing generative AI (GenAI) models to develop and integrate AI-driven products and services.
• Collaborate with software development teams to integrate generative AI into products and platforms.
• Explore and apply advanced techniques in natural language processing (NLP), image generation, and other GenAI domains.
• Optimize the efficiency and scalability of GenAI implementations for production use.
• Stay up to date with advancements in generative AI models and evaluate their applicability to company projects.
• Support the Proof of Concept (PoC) team by selecting and testing suitable AI models for experimental initiatives.
• Work closely with data scientists, ML engineers, and product teams to ensure deliverables align with business objectives.

This role may require travel and working from multiple sites/locations. Willing and able to travel to participate in meetings, workshops, and other related activitiesKey StakeholdersExternal:

• Will be collaborating with several suppliers with different roles on the squad.

Internal:

• Will be dealing with the Head of Centre of Excellence of Data in Iberia and the rest of Iberia areas.

QualificationsQualifications

• Experience with ML frameworks / Platforms such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Langchain, Langgraph, Hugging Face or AWS Bedrock and others.
• Expertise in Prompt engineering, RAG architectures, Embedding modeling and Fine tuning.
• Strong knowledge of deep learning, neural networks, and large language models (LLMs).
• Experience in integrating and optimizing existing AI models rather than building them from scratch.
• Familiarity with cloud-native and model deployment in AWS.
• Ability to evaluate and improve the quality and performance of AI-based solutions.
• Demonstrated knowledge in testing, monitoring and benchmarking generative AI models (BLEU, BERT, Perplexity and others).

Desired qualification

• Experience with ML Ops tools and model deployment pipelines.
• Contributions to open-source projects in the field of generative AI.
• Knowledge of security techniques and bias mitigation in AI models.
• Airline experience

Skills and Experience

• Over 6 years of experience in software development with a focus on machine learning and 2 years of experience in the GenAI field
• Ability to work in an agile environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Innovative mindset and problem-solving orientation.
• Excellent communication and technical documentation skills.
• Autonomy and capability to make strategic technical decisions.
• Fluent in English and Spanish.
