We are seeking an experienced General Counsel to join our highly respected in-house team in London.Operating within a highly regulated sector the Firm requires high level internal legal advice and support on regulatory matters. In order to ensure that the company is continuously working within and to regulations and not in breach unnecessarily, the successful applicant will support the executive leadership at the highest level, alongside filing with Companies House, ensuring the firm remains legal and compliant.We are looking for those who have experience advising senior management and executives on a wide range of legal matters and can provide input on operational activities, whilst also providing sound legal and commercial advice. The successful candidate will also control the Group’s overall expenditure on external legal advice and services within agreed budgets, whilst acting as company secretary to the Group and ensuring that the Board adheres to Corporate Governance Rules. We would welcome applications from those who have managed a legal team, with strong knowledge of contract and commercial law, along with experience in litigation and dispute resolution.What we offer in return:We have a wide range of core and voluntary benefits:
