Interested? – Let’s talk!Working hours: Monday to Friday, with flexible working hoursThe teamTogether with your seven colleagues, you are part of a supportive, small team, belonging to our department Lab and Product Services, which supports leading pharmaceutical companies and laboratories all over the world, in Research and Development within the Life Sciences industry.What we’re looking for

• MBO3 or 4 lab studies is preferred, depending on experience
• Lab experience is an asset
• Good basic skills in MS Office, in particular with MS Excel
• Effective communication in English, Dutch is a plus
• Outgoing, customer minded, and responsible

How you will thrive and create an impactPreparation of In-House Materials:

• To prepare and label laboratory materials including but not limited to biological media, buffers and mobile phases in accordance with procedural documents, site and regulatory requirements.
• To order and maintain material inventory required to manufacture requested formulations to end users.
• To prepare materials using the BMS web based ordering system using standard and custom formulations.
• Deliver prepared orders to end users with required documentation in accordance with BMS procedural documents, site and regulatory requirements.
• Operate all equipment in accordance with procedural documents, site and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain volumetric and share with BMS as requested demonstrating service level agreements are being maintained in accordance with BMS.

Sample Receipt and Shipping:

• To manage, coordinate and execute sample receipt and sample shipment, including but not limited to; media powders and components, buffers, in process samples.
• Preparation and shipment of all samples within as well as outside of the BMS Network to meet the site-specific needs of R&D, as per site requirements, procedural documents and regulatory requirements.
• To maintain shipment records in sample tracking IT system and update as changes occur to either the shipment and/or the samples, all original paperwork sent to analyst at close of shipment.
• To manage retain samples. Prepare samples for storage, remove and dispose of samples as required, maintain an inventory of samples on retain, update logbooks as required, and disposal of in-process samples.

Liquid Nitrogen Fill:

• To manage and coordinate fill of external liquid nitrogen reserve tanks as per site requirements and regulatory requirements.

Glassware, Autoclave and Parts washer Facility:

• To manage and execute a glassware maintenance, autoclave and parts washer service, as per site requirements and procedural documents.
• To maintain working stock of glassware.
• Glassware and materials to be washed and/or autoclaved is to be picked up daily at designated locations, processed, sealed (if necessary) and returned the same or next business day to designated locations.
• Hand wash, rinse and completely dry all delicate glassware, apparatus and tubing assemblies.
• To perform a quality check and inspection of all glassware for damages and cleanliness ensure disposal of damaged glassware.
• To stock sufficient supplies, such as detergents as defined by BMS.
• Maintain volumetric and share with BMS as requested demonstrating service level agreements are being maintained.

Lab Equipment operational support:

• To manage and execute an instrument performance verification service for selected laboratory equipment including but not limited to cell counters, nutrient metabolite analysers, pH meters, pipettes, balances and liquid handlers as per BMS procedural documents, BMS site and regulatory requirements.
• To manage, co-ordinate execute and document the routine planned maintenance, servicing, repair of selected equipment with BMS defined vendors within required timeframes for MS & T and AS&T
