The Financial Analyst examines financial data and uses their findings to help the company to make business decisions. More specifically, the Financial Analysts research macroeconomic and microeconomic conditions along with company fundamentals to make predictions about businesses, sectors, and industries.Your tasks:Assist the senior accountants to transition general ledger responsibilities from US or EU sites into the Shared Service centerActively participating in assigned accounting and month end closing processesResponsible for US GAAP accounting, reporting and analyses of data and other ad hoc requests for information.Performing general ledger account analysis and Balance Sheet account reconciliationsPrepare SOX controlsAssist internal and external auditsCreate and maintain process documentationSupport internal and external auditsMaintain a good relationship with other finance departmentsExpectations:1 year relevant experienceBachelor’s Degree in Economics required (preferably in accounting)Clear verbal and written communication skills in EnglishBasic general accounting knowledge and understanding of financial processesAble to use MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)Analytical abilityExcellent team playerSupportive attitude and good interpersonal skill setAbility to establish and maintain effective work relationships with stakeholdersPreferred Experience / Skills:Extensive Excel knowledge including advanced functions with Excel required (Pivot tables, Vlook ups, etc)Working knowledge of IFRS or US GAAP and SOX regulationsExperience with structured ERP, Oracle or SAP and consolidated reporting systems.Experience in manufacturing industry is highly desirable
