That’s what makes us Roche!The Global Medical Collaboration Leader (GMCL) is a medical, global, field-based role working across countries and affiliates to accelerate the development and delivery of medicines to patients through effective medical customer engagement across the lifecycle of a molecule/Disease Area (DA). The role will be responsible for the Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s disease areas.The Opportunity:1. Develops and facilitates relationships and collaborative networks with external stakeholders ensuring Roche is the preferred partner and championing a ONE Roche approachDrives scientific knowledge exchange with global experts and across scientific networks at global and affiliate levelEstablishes and maintains scientific collaborations with key external stakeholders (including patient organisations, scientific societies, academia, policy and access stakeholders)Identifies and progresses key opportunities for increased collaboration and cooperation and overcomes barriers to facilitate collaborations between customers and the organisation2. Engages and educates investigators and site staff to enable and expedite the successful delivery of clinical development programmesDrives scientific engagement with clinical trial sites to support patient recruitment and retention by ensuring confidence and motivation of site staff across the development programme(s).Gathers investigator feedback and insights to optimise clinical development performance and customer experienceDiscusses and supports IISs, compassionate use programmes and data strategies that support access activities (until release of pivotal data)3. Provides real-time insights and ground level understanding of the disease area landscape across countries to better inform cross-functional strategiesBuilds a comprehensive understanding of the local environmentExecutes insights gathering activities to address knowledge gaps (including advisory boards, steering committees, etc)Ensures the customer perspective is incorporated in strategic and tactical decisions4. Partners with global cross-functional colleagues and affiliates to enhance launch readiness in assigned countriesAccelerates affiliate understanding of the disease area ecosystem and supports understanding and alignment with the global strategy to drive effective affiliate planning and decision makingActs as disease area champion and advocate in the assigned affiliatesSupports the local implementation of field-based activities of the global medical plan in compliance with all local requirements5. Contributes to the high performance and innovation of the Global Medical Collaboration community to optimise customer experience and to evolve to meet the needs of the organisationWho you are:Master’s degree in science or related field required; postgraduate degree (PhD, PharmD, MSc, MD, MBA) highly desirable.At least 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry or related industries in a global or affiliate roleAt least 2 years of experience in a medical/scientific, customer-facing, field roleExperience in Medical Affairs, Product Development or Early Development is essential, including understanding and experience of processes and procedures for clinical trial engagement for corporate sponsored and independent supported studiesDesired: deep scientific knowledge/experience in Neuroscience (especially Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s diseases)Fluency in written and spoken English & Polish is mandatoryDesirable: fluency in GermanPassion for Customer Centricity and External Medical EngagementStrategic skills and system awareness are critical for this role, liaising with teams within Global Medical Affairs, Global Product Development, Global Research & Early Development and Global Commercial functions and country affiliates.Flexibility and scientific agility to change between disease areas, functional and/or specialist topics according to business needsWhat you get:Annual bonus payment based on your performanceDedicated training budget (training, certifications, conferences, diversified career paths etc.)Recharge Fridays (2 Fridays off per quarter available)Take time Program (up to 3 months of leave to use for any purpose)Flex Location (possibility to perform our work from different places in the world for a certain period of time)Take Time for Charity (additional paid leave of maximum 2 weeks to engage in the charity action of your choice)Private healthcare ( LuxMed packages) and group life insurance (UNUM);Stock share purchase additionsYearly sales of company laptops and cars and many moreAPPLY DIRECTLYIf you feel this offer suits a friend of yours, feel free to share it.The controller of your personal data is Roche Polska Sp. z o.o., ul.
