MissionThe Global Medical Operations Manager contributes to the planification and management of medical trials and studies and the integration of generated evidence.Tasks and Responsibilities1. Executing strategic guidance from the Global RWE & Outcomes Research Managers:

• Contributes to strategic and tactical planning with regards to medical operations.

2. Planning and conducting trials and studies:

• Responsible for planning, management and supervision of company sponsored interventional and non-interventional post-submission (e.g., phase lllb/IV) studies.

• Leading and being the main contact of the CRO executing the study, being accountable for all the aspects regarding the deliverables of the study.

• Responsible of monitoring investigator-initiated studies (e.g., prospective clinical trials, case reports, etc.).

• Cooperation and supervision of locally executed GMA studies (interventional and non-interventional) on case-by-case basis. Providing expert guidance to market companies to ensure that all studies run on budget and timelines.

3. Engaging with internal and external stakeholders

• Provides strategic and operational guidance to market companies.

• Actively participates in providing Medical Information, Publications and Training updates on new scientific and medical findings.

• Participation in selected scientific events, congresses, and trainings to be informed about new trends and opportunities, including the preparation of presentations and/or papers.

Education

• Degree in Medicine, Biology, Chemistry or equivalent.
• PhD in scientific field desirable.
• Courses about general and/or special aspects of the Pharmaceutical Industry

Experience

• Minimum 3-4 years’ experience in managing, planning and executing clinical studies internationally.
• Knowledge and expertise in the field of Dermatology is a plus.
