YOUR ROLE

In this position you will act as corporate tax advisor to French CEVA entities, taking local tax law requirements into account, in close coordination with our ambitious commercial objectives. You will participate in global tax structuring and tax projects. You will be based at the HQ in Marseille and be part of the Global Tax Department. You will report directly into the Head of Corporate Tax.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

• Develop and implement global tax planning initiatives/strategies to reduce the company’s consolidated effective tax rate and cash tax position
• Proactively identify direct tax opportunities and pursue this right to implementation
• Contribute to a robust and sustainable tax structure anticipating a changing tax environment
• Develop and implement transfer pricing policies and monitor them for accuracy and completeness and maintain contemporaneous transfer pricing documentation to support those policies
• Support operations on organic growth initiatives, financing, and acquisitions; Collaborate with Treasury and Legal departments to support various financing activities
• Identify and mitigate tax risks to which the Group might be exposed
• Ensure all tax processes and key controls are maintained in accordance with Group rules
• Manage and assist in tax audits and/or tax litigations
• Participate in projects such M&A activities and structuring implementations

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

• Master degree in tax law or fiscal economics or similar
• At least 5 years of tax advisory experience in an international tax environment
• In-depth knowledge of French corporate tax law and transactional tax concepts and its practical applications
• Self-starter, ability to identify tax opportunities/issues and resolve them proactively
• Ability to work independently but also in (virtual) teams;
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines;
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, fluent in English and French;
• Ability to build and maintain strong relationships in a collaborative fashion with strong influencing skills;
• Creative and strong analytical thinking skills and able to develop innovative solutions;
• Ability to communicate complete tax issues to non-tax audience;
• Persistent on principles but practical in finding solutions and is result-driven;
• Hands-on and committed individual with an attitude to get things done
