• You will be responsible for all activities related to:
• Design and implement IoT solutions that integrate with existing systems.
• Develop and maintain IoT applications throughout the software lifecycle.
• Configure and manage IoT devices and systems.
• Troubleshoot and debug IoT solutions.
• Focus on networking and cybersecurity.

Who you are:Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree preferably in Computer Science, Computer/Electrical & Electronics Engineering or equivalent, with:

• 3+ years of experience in the role;
• Knowledge and experience in IoT connectivity (wi-fi, bluethooth, 4G/ 5G mmwave, LoraWan), IoT platforms, data acquisition, and Data Historians;
• Expertise in coding and programming languages, such as Rust, GoLang, node.js, react, Webassembly;
• Strong knowledge of Linux and shell scripting;
• Extensive experience with IoT protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, OPCUA, MQTT, QUIC, MODBUS, GOOSE, MMS);
• Experience and certifications in deployment strategies on cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google, Azure) and technologies like Infrastructure as Code (IaC), including Terraform and Ansible.
• Proficiency in VMWare environments, networking, operating systems, and both SQL and NoSQL databases;
• Knowledge of distributed architecture and its implementation, including containerization (Docker), orchestration (Kubernetes), and API-driven and event-driven development;
• Understanding of connected industrial concepts (e.g., Digital Twin);
• Advanced proficiency in English.

Following characteristics are considered a plus:

• Understanding of security, compliance, and data privacy considerations in enterprise architecture;
• Knowledge of DevSecOps practices and CI/CD strategies and tools, such as Jenkins, Gitlab, SonarQube, Puppet, etc;
• A global perspective on user experience (UX) and fundamentals of data engineering;
• Experience in application development utilizing ML/AI algorithms on edge (using ONNX, wasmedge);
• Knowledge of IoT technology in an Energy context;
• Experience in Software companies in the Smart Grids space;
• Proficiency in other languages: Spanish;
• PhD.
