Job description

We are seeking an experienced Full-Time Group Maintenance Manager to join the Beechfield Care Group Team. The successful candidate will report to the Group Operations and Procurement Manger, be a part of the BCG Operations Team and will be responsible and accountable for the provision of effective Maintenance Management programmes to meet the needs of our Beechfield Nursing Homes.General Responsibilities:

• Management of all facilities’ maintenance programs and maintenance staff across the Group (8 locations).
• Management and oversight of all subcontractors’ Planned Preventative Maintenance Service Level Agreements,
• Upkeep of Nursing Homes Property Asset Equipment Register.
• Oversee and manage all Nursing Homes’s reactive maintenance tasks to ensure cost efficiencies and group scale/purchase opportunities are explored.
• Support Directors of Nursing/ maintenance staff in the oversight and management & procurement of ad-hoc contractors in line with procurement policy.

Qualifications/ Skills

• Desirable Engineering/Technical degree qualification
• A relevant and a demonstrable record of continuous personal development within the building/ maintenance industry.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in building service management .
• Dealing with the implementation of systems and service strategies within new and existing developments.
• Excellent awareness and quality management of Health & Safety, maintenance and fire regulations.
• MS Office Suite skills, particularly MS Excel, SharePoint programs.
• Risk Assessments Experience – drafting RA’s and training other staff how to draft risk assessments
• Project Management Knowledge
• Staff/ Personnel/ Team Management experience
• Excellent communication skills.
