Following a “local-to-local” strategy, the group is the market leader in the technology- and customer-driven Central and Eastern European online travel agency market with its 11 online travel products, more than 80,000 bookable accommodation partners, and a team of more than 500 people, being part of Wirtualna Polska’s travel portfolio since late 2022.Role Summary:The Group Remuneration, Reporting, and Analytics Head at Szallas Group is responsible for designing and implementing the organization’s remuneration strategy, overseeing compensation policies, and leading HR analytics and reporting. This strategic role ensures competitive, fair, and compliant compensation practices across the Group while using data-driven insights to inform HR and business decisions. The role will also play a key part in supporting the company’s growth, employee engagement, and retention through effective pay structures, performance rewards, and actionable analytics. Additionally, the role oversees the budgeting process for Personnel Expenses (PEREX) and Full-Time Equivalents (FTE) across the Group, ensuring alignment with business objectives and financial targets.Key Responsibilities:Remuneration Strategy and Management

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive remuneration strategy aligned with business goals and market best practices.
  • Design and manage competitive compensation structures, including grading, job evaluations, salary bands, incentives, bonuses, and benefits across the Group.
  • Conduct regular benchmarking and market analysis to ensure remuneration packages remain competitive and equitable.
  • Ensure pay transparency and fairness, aligning compensation practices with legal requirements and company values.

Performance and Reward Programs

  • Oversee the design and implementation of performance-based reward programs and policies.
  • Manage annual salary reviews, promotions, and bonus cycles in collaboration with HR and Finance teams.
  • Advise senior leadership on compensation-related decisions and provide insights on best practices for reward strategies.

Budgeting for PEREX and FTE

  • Lead the annual budgeting process for Personnel Expenses (PEREX) and Full-Time Equivalents (FTE) in collaboration with Finance and HR teams.
  • Monitor and manage headcount and personnel costs, on a regular basis, ensuring alignment with budget forecasts and business objectives.
  • Analyze variances between actuals and budgeted figures, reconcile the data, providing regular reports and insights to leadership.
  • Support strategic workforce planning by providing data-driven recommendations on staffing and cost optimization.

HR Reporting and Analytics

  • Develop and maintain HR reporting frameworks to provide timely and accurate workforce data (e.g. cost, headcount, turnover, compensation metrics).
  • Deliver data-driven insights and recommendations to support decision-making on recruitment, retention, performance, and workforce planning with special focus on seasonality.
  • Create dashboards and reports for senior leadership to visualize key HR metrics and trends.

Compliance and Governance

  • Ensure all remuneration practices are compliant with local laws, regulations, and corporate governance policies across all regions.
  • Prepare reports for regulatory bodies and internal stakeholders as required.
  • Manage remuneration-related audits and risk assessments.

Process Improvement and Tools Management

  • Optimize HR processes related to compensation, reporting, and analytics to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  • Work closely with HR teams to ensure effective use of HR systems and tools for reporting and analytics.
  • Continuously identify opportunities for automation and process enhancements.

Key Deliverables:

  • Comprehensive Group remuneration strategy and framework.
  • Regular (bi-annual) market benchmarking reports and compensation analysis.
  • Annual salary review and bonus cycle plans.
  • Monthly and quarterly HR dashboards and reports with actionable insights.
  • Compliance with all remuneration-related regulations and governance standards.

Qualifications and Skills:Education and Experience:

  • Min. Bachelor’s degree.
  • 8+ years of experience in compensation and benefits, HR analytics, or related roles, with at least 3 years in a leadership position.
  • Proven experience in designing and implementing remuneration strategies and managing HR analytics.

Technical Skills:

  • Fluency in HRIS and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
  • Strong analytical skills and expertise in Excel, including advanced functions and data modeling.
  • Knowledge of job evaluation methods, compensation frameworks, and market benchmarking tools.

Soft Skills:

  • Strong leadership and influencing skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities.

  • Ability to handle sensitive data with discretion and integrity.
